What to do with Starburst Candy Wrappers.

Posted: November 21st, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Jewelry Videos | Tags: , , | 25 Comments »

This video will show you some ideas on how to use candy wrappers for crafting purposes. I have used them to make jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, && earrings; I have decorated the covers of notebooks/day planners with them; I have even sewed them onto a dress! ^-^ For some reason, the audio did not match up to how my mouth was moving. Just ignore it, please. My next crafty video will be dedicated to juice pouches! I will show you my purses and wallets. (: Oh yea, and to see more of my artwork, and photography, too, go to my DeviantART account here: sarie23.deviantart.com Craftastic! [[my crafty video series]] Comment. Subscribe. Stay Tuned.

@NikkiBay8 I never realized they had animal products in them… but, I’m not big on candy, so I don’t eat many, anyway. Yea!! People will definitely eat them for you. (:

@Rainbowkid17x Yea, a tiny rip usually doesn’t cause problems. =] I just make necklaces the same way as the bracelets, but I add more wrappers.

@naddilovesloulou At shoe stores – or at least at PayLess – they sell a bottle of waterproofing spray. You could try that. Make sure you test it on a single wrapper (with mod podge on it) first to see if it affects the wrapper. Still, I wouldn’t walk in puddles with the shoes. I’m sure a little bit of rain wouldn’t be an issue.

What do you think i could do to make the shoes waterproof? Or just to make the candy wrappers not go soggy and fall off?

@BIMBOBOOP There is, for most people, but it’s done with a reallyy old video camera, so I’ve been told it’s in mono sound, which, I guess, is not compatible with all computers//speakers. I might redo it. && Thanks!
