How to Make an Adjustable Switchback Strap by TIAT

Switchback Straps are relatively easy to make. Still they’re useful and they look really cool—two good things in my book. To add a little something extra to the strap I included instructions for how to make them adjustable. Video Production by JD of Tying It All Together.

    @TyingItAllTogether TBH I missed this as well! I watch most of the TIAT videos, and now have a massive paracord collection, but I’ve never seen the information! Short attention span, perhaps?
    How about putting in in the description?
    Keep up the great work!

    @39Mick0tf2 Search for bushcraftstore- I can’t post a link, but Google makes it easy to find!

    Simply wait a second longer after the end of the video and cord type, length and gauge is provided.

    Not sure why people are missing this?

    @nowhereusa

    Knot book isn’t out yet (likely available in late summer). My second novel, “Disturbingly Normal”, was released last week though.

    Check out JDLenzen(dot)com if you’re interested in a good read.

    Awesome vid… soon as you started tying it it made sense never realized it was that easy will have to give it a try thanks for the great vids and is the book out yet?

  19. 19 nowhereusa said at 7:56 pm on December 21st, 2010:

    @39Mick0tf2 im assuming its 550 cord, search for parachute cord or 550 cord online or try your local army surplus store. If you want it for survival use as a back up piece of cordage then make sure its the 7 strand core and rated to 550lbs breaking strain, inner core should be 7 strand. If you needed say fishing line you strip the inner core and you have a line :) If you dont care about any of that just get cord that you like the look of.
