Brothers Four – Seven Daffodils I may not have mansion, I haven’t any land Not even a paper dollar to crinkle in my hands But I can show you morning on a thousand hills And kiss you and give you seven daffodils I do not have a fortune to buy you pretty things But I can weave you moonbeams for necklaces and rings And I can show you morning on a thousand hills And kiss you and give you seven daffodils Oh seven golden daffodils all shining in the sun To light our way to evening when our day is done And I will give music and a crust of bread And a pillow of piny boughs to rest your head A pillow of piny boughs to rest your head

my mother used to sing this to me, I didn’t know it was a “real” song. I was just trying to find the lyrics online and this came up. thank you so much for posting this. it’s very special to me.
LLEVABA MUCHO TIEMPO TRATANDO DE CONSEGUIR MÚSICA DE “THE BROTHERS FOUR”. HOY ME SORPRENDÍ GRATAMENTE AL ENCONTRAR ESTOS VIDEOS.
¡¡¡MUCHAS GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR ESTA BELLEZA!!!
I grew up with this group. My son took me to see them in concert a few years back for my birthday. It was a surprise. I got to give one of the members a thank you for all the years of fond memories. Funny, back then great music was considered “God given talent” and not everyone could participate………..so we listened and wished we had that talent. Talking to music or a beat just couldn’t cut it. Not everyone made a sports team either.
never heard this one really. really like it wado for posting
I grew up with this song as well. Great song sung by great singers.
