Ladies, when your man wants to marry you, does he buy an engagement ring and a wedding ring, or are they both the same thing? Do ladies prefer it when your mother or your grandmother gives you her wedding ring to have or do you prefer to have your own ring? When the time comes to buy the ring or rings, do you two normally go together or is this something the man has to do alone?

Im from asia, and over here marriages are done differently but i have often seen in the movies that people propose with a ring. The ring that they offer while proposing, down on their knees, is it the engagement ring ?? And then again there is a wedding ring ???? And which one contains the diamond ???

I was sitting here thinking about wedding and engagement rings (one of those random thoughts that pop into my head from time to time).
I already knew the history of a wedding ring, but really didn’t know anything about the engagement ring.
What is the history behind it? How long have engagement rings been given? I always thought it was only something created by jewelry companies to make more money. Is this correct?

Hi, I’m planning to pop the question to my lovely girlfriend, I’ve been gently asking what type of ring she likes, out of all the ring types she prefers the ‘eternity’ type rings, they are lovely but I was wondering if this is acceptable for an engagement ring.
My Girlfiried likes this type >>>>>
