What made black pearls in my fish pond?

I have a fish pond that has koi and goldfish and today I found a bunch of black pearl strings around the plants. Anyone have an idea as to what they are?

Toad eggs probably. Toads lay eggs in strands, while frogs lay them in clumps.

vulcan is right they are probably toad eggs so if you took them out, you might want to put them back gently.
