If you’re looking for a gaudy medallion, keep on hunting–this half-dollar sized piece is flashy and feminine. In the term “diamond-accent”, the word you want to emphasis is “accent”. The intricate filigree and amethysts definitely are the show-stealers, but they do it with such class that you’re simply left feeling impressed. The chain is very delicate, so it’s not for every day use, and if you’re hard on jewelry, you might want to think twice. but for specialty use, it’s an amazing steal.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my grandmother. She loves Amethyst and when she opened the gift box her face lit up. This necklace is really pretty, and I have to say… that it is actually shinier than shown in its product picture. The chain is connected to the pendant in the back, which makes it look quite chic. My only wish was for the chain to have been a little longer… but the chain itself was of a sturdy quality. I was very pleased with it, as was my grandmother.

This was bought for a gift and I wanted something dainty, but this is about the size of a quarter and the chain is really fine with a tendancy to tangle. Still very pretty for the price and was well liked by the giftee.
