Great chain, solid and heavy. No kinks. However, you need to make sure you want a 10MM chain (nearly 1/2″) as this may not be for everyone. Not sure about being entirely in the gang ranking mentioned, but it is simply a young look in some respects, but plenty of older, successful people where platinum chains this thick.
Though, add the look with the thickness and I can see this concern. The 7MM version may be a better choice for some.

This is a great necklace. Size is just right. The only negative that I have is that they wrap it tightly in plastic that was hard to remove.

Unfortuneately I was not careful in determining the size of the chain only the length. More appropriate to gang culture than casual wear.
